Criminal Law

Criminal Law

Whether a misdemeanor or felony, being accused of a crime can be extremely nerve racking. The present and future consequences of a criminal accusation can affect nearly every aspect of a person’s life. Let our law firm carry the weight and worry of that accusation and fight tooth and nail for your innocence.

Please see the links to the Texas Code below for information on specific charges.

Grand Jury

In Texas, people have a right to be indicted by a grand jury when charged with a felony. Grand jury proceedings are non-confrontational and only involve the jurors and the prosecution. However, a person may write and submit a packet for the grand jury to review as part of the process. It is important to act quickly and produce a Grand Jury Packet for the jurors to review, and in some cases, the packet may be enough to have a case “no-billed” for lack of probable cause.
